Bo Bonner is the Director of Mission and Ministry and Assistant Professor at Mercy College of Health Sciences. He converted to Catholicism during Easter 2006 while in the Protestant Seminary at Duke Divinity School, and is a Benedictine Oblate at Our Lady of Clear Creek Monastery in Oklahoma. Born on the feast of St. Blaise, patron of throats, Bo has not stopped talking since. Bo and his wife Robyn have four children: Elias, Stella, Antonia, and Finnian.
Bud Marr is the Director of the National Institute for Newman Studies. He earned his doctorate in theology from Saint Louis University and taught philosophy and theology at Mercy College of Health Sciences (2014-2017). An Omaha native with a strong Evangelical upbringing, Bud entered the Catholic Church at age 27. Bud and his wife Rachel are parents to five children: Madeline, Clare, Gianna, Mary, and Dominic. By executive decree, the Marr household members are avid Husker fans who have nonetheless developed strong and lasting friendships with Iowans, both Cyclones and Hawkeyes.
