Chris Magruder is a cradle Catholic who continues to be awakened to the truths of God through continual learning of her Catholic faith. Having had her eyes opened to scripture in her 20’s, thanks to her Protestant friends, she was motivated to learn why the Catholic Church believes what it does.
Then with the help of the Holy Spirit through Christ Renews His Parish, being a wife of 37 years, raising her three children, teaching and coaching in the local Catholic schools and a special pilgrimage, her faith has grown and become more alive. Presently she cohosts Catholic Women Now on Iowa Catholic Radio and EWTN podcasts and is the executive producer of "The Veil Removed” and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Her favorite response to the needs of family and friends is "Let's pray about it."
Julie is a radio co-host for Catholic Women Now and the founder of Jules for the Crown.com. She is passionate about sharing the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith and helping women grow closer to Christ in their everyday lives.
Married to her husband, Lynn, Julie is a grateful mother of four and grandmother of three. She loves creating, sewing, and connecting with new people. Through radio, speaking, writing, and ministry, she encourages others to embrace their God-given purpose, live with faith and joy, and keep their eyes fixed on Christ as they journey toward the crown He has prepared for them.
