1. Contest Description

The “Sweetest Mom Ever” Mother’s Day Contest invites listeners to nominate a deserving mom, grandmother, or spiritual mother for a chance to win a sweet Mother’s Day gift.

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of Iowa

• Employees, board members, and immediate family members of Iowa Catholic Radio and Cheeses and Jesus Cheesecakes are not eligible to win.

• Void where prohibited.

3. Entry Period

• Contest begins upon announcement.

• All entries must be received by 11:59 PM (midnight) on Monday, May 4, 2026.

4. How to Enter

• Participants may enter by submitting a nomination via Iowa Catholic Radio website

Each entry must include:

• Nominee’s name

• Relationship to nominee (mom, grandmother, spiritual mother, etc.)

• A brief explanation (2–5 sentences) of why the nominee deserves to win

• Limit one entry per person unless otherwise stated.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• Five (5) winners will be selected by Iowa Catholic Radio based on the quality, sincerity, and impact of the nomination.

• Winners will be announced on-air on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 during The Catholic Morning Show.

• Winners may also be contacted directly using the information provided at entry.

6. Prize

• Each winner will receive a gift certificate for a cheesecake from Cheeses and Jesus Cheesecakes.

• Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.

• Prize must be accepted as awarded.

• Delivery or pickup: Winners within the Des Moines area may follow standard redemption instructions. Delivery outside the Des Moines area must be coordinated with Iowa Catholic Radio and may be subject to additional arrangements or limitations.

7. Publicity

• By entering, participants grant Iowa Catholic Radio permission to use submitted names, stories, and optional photos for on-air, online, and social media promotion without additional compensation.

8. General Conditions

• Iowa Catholic Radio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

• By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of Iowa Catholic Radio, which are final.

• Iowa Catholic Radio is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

9. Release of Liability

• By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Iowa Catholic Radio and Cheeses and Jesus Cheesecakes from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance/use of the prize.
